SIRMIONE IS BLUE FLAG 2023

The best known and most iconic beach of Sirmione, Jamaica, has obtained the Blue Flag 2023.
The award is given to seaside and lakeside resorts that meet specific and rigorous water and beach quality criteria, implement virtuous practices of sustainable land management with attention also to aspects relating to accessibility for people with disabilities.
The Blue Flag award is conferred by the FEE, Foundation for Environmental Education, an international organization recognized by UNESCO as a world leader in the field of environmental education and sustainable development and is awarded every year in 49 different countries around the world.

The music, art and life of Maria Callas in 7 musical events that celebrate the great soprano after the success of the opening concert of the centenary year, Callas and Maria, Three sopranos in concert, and while in the halls of Palazzo Callas Exhibitions the extraordinary images of Cristina de Middel evoke the most tragic heroines interpreted by Callas. Homage to Maria Callas proposes a musical journey in three of the four homelands of Maria Callas, America, Italy and France, starting from her home in Sirmione and passing through Naples and meeting Enrico Caruso. A celebration of female voices in a jazz key will close the festival at the end of September.
