New Viability in Sirmione

The tourist season is upon us and Sirmione is ready to welcome tourists and visitors, to enjoy its beauty, hospitality and services offered.

The Municipal Administration has always been committed to implementing interventions aimed at enhancing the territory and identifying solutions that make it possible to improve the livability and usability of the spaces for citizens and guests.

In fact, starting from Monday 04 April , the experimental phase of the renewed management of the roads and parking areas in the area between Largo Faselo Bitinico and Piazzale Porto will be launched.

The main novelty therefore concerns the launch of the new Welcome Point , which will allow automatic transit only to authorized vehicles, to which a special lane is reserved.

How the restricted traffic zone works

• To enter Sirmione "ZTL zone" it is mandatory to communicate the license plate before arrival (two days before arrival would be optimal) in the hotel of your car, in order to avoid sanctions by the Municipal Police and to be able to access the ZTL area .
  
  NEW Checkpoint ZTL
  At the time of booking or before arrival it is NECESSARY to communicate the correct license plate of the car to the hotel reception.
  If it is communicated incorrectly or not transmitted to the ZTL gate, it will not be possible to enter the historic center.
