If SPA is the acronym of the Latin expression Salus per Aquam (health through water), my advice to renovate the wellness oasis of the Hotel Olivi in Sirmione has led to a new concept of well-being that I have called SALYS VITAE.
In fact, I created special blends of natural salts for each pool in the center. Objective: to differentiate its actions and enhance its beneficial effects.
OCÈA, made up of oceanic sea waters, richer in iodine, is the outdoor pool that performs a powerful toning and energizing action on the body.
YU instead - whose formulation is inspired by the ancient Onsen, the thermal springs of the Rising Sun - is the indoor pool that generates a deep relaxing and draining action on the body.
Finally, the saline composition of ACQUAMARINA , the outdoor pool open to all, has also been renovated to evoke the positive effects of bathing waters.

Doctor Marco Merlin
Doctor Marco Merlin is a specialist in thermal and marine water treatments. He collaborated for almost 20 years with the Terme di Sirmione of which he was Health Director. He is the inventor of important spa treatments such as the MICRONIZED SHOWER, which has now become a pillar of the healing protocols in all spas. He is the creator of ACQUA DI SIRMIONE, the only sulphurous water bottled in vials for the treatment of the upper respiratory tract. He was medical director of important wellness centers such as Grand Hotel Sirmione and Palazzo Arzaga.
