From childhood Franco Cerini had a desire: live among the centuries-old olive trees near the house of Catullus, in the peninsula of Sirmione. A dream that was realized in 1977 when the Hotel Olivi was purchased.
Coming from a family of hotel tradition, Franco attends the Istituto Professionale Alberghiero "Erminio Maggia" under the guidance of Professor Albano Mainardi, founder of the famous School of Stresa.
Once acquired the necessary professionalism, Franco Cerini undertakes to start a hotel-house whose boundaries were almost imperceptible.
A commitment that has lasted for almost 40 years, in the company of his wife Titti and his sons Matteo, Francesco and Federico that continue to cultivate with passion the art hospitality.
