During the lessons the botanical artist (Botanical Artist) Renata Barilli dip.SBA teaches the basic techniques of drawing and watercolor. The Hotel Olivi's garden offers various interesting varieties that will be the protagonists of our research.
General informations
Teaching of artistic technique and introduction to botany.
Start in the morning 10 am until 12 with the teaching of artistic technique.
From 2.30 pm it will be possible to continue with the assistance of Renata.
Summer dates 2019 - theme weeks
June: from 17 to 21 flowers and leaves basic design, introduction to watercolor
July: from 15 to 19 flowers and leaves basic design, introduction to watercolor
August: from 12 to 16 fruits and vegetables basic design, introduction to watercolor
September: from 16 to 20 the colors of autumn: portraits of botanical species
- level : basic or with average design and watercolor experience
cost € 300.00 for the week / € 60.00 for a single day.
Sketching in the garden - every Wednesday
Every Wednesday from June to September, Renata Barilli dipSBA will hold a botanical sketching meeting in the garden of the Olivi Hotel to which everyone can participate.
Renata will teach the technique of sketching, will give botanical explanations and will guide your eyes in search of beauty.

Renata Barilli dedicates herself to the botanical art for passion. Fascinated by the beauty of nature and botanical studies the wild flora of the Morainic Hills of Lake Garda. Since years teaches Sketching in Nature directly in the field for both school children and adults, to spread the knowledge of nature through design. Faithful to its motto "to contemplate the beautiful keeps away from the ugly " idea projects of educational laboratories. Graduated at THE SOCIETY OF BOTANICAL ARTISTS in 2007, she exhibited her work at the Annual Exhibition in London until 2014. She is currently a member of the AMERICAN SOCIETY OF BOTANICAL ARTISTS . In 2011 he received the Bronze Medal award at the BOTALIA International Botanical Arts Competition in Lucca for "wild orchids of Lake Garda". In 2013 he received the "Honor Mention - botanical category" at the OASIS Competition, Draw Nature. He collaborates with the GE GHIRARDI Botanical Garden of Toscolano Maderno. From 2016 he holds drawing courses at the University of Garda in Desenzano. In 2018 he exhibited at the exhibition FLORARTE in Macerata.
